Inside view of the FBLM configuration

For units that operate in a high radiation field, such as Beam Loss Monitors, we deliver units with a radiation hard design that includes only the scintillator, PMT and an active high-voltage divider.

The standard R2D-PL configuration consists of a plastic scintillator mounted on a photomultiplier and the embedded high-voltage generator and eMorpho MCA. The unit is hermetically enclosed in a 0.020-inch thick µ-metal shield for protection against magnetic fields.
The units are powered and controlled through their USB interface.
